As UnityPoint Health – Marshalltown nears completion of its new hospital, it’s ready to share key dates associated with the transition.

The new hospital, which is the result of a $38.4 million expansion of the existing medical park on the south edge of the city, will be unveiled to the public  in a community open house on Saturday, April 23, from 9 to 11:30 a.m.

The new hospital is located at 55 UnityPoint Way, and just south of the intersection of Highways 30 and 14.

Departments that don’t rely on UnityPoint Health’s support services will begin moving into the new facility on April 21st, while the remaining departments will make the move on April 27th.
