A man is facing charges as a result of an altercation that occurred Thursday evening within the city limits of Marshalltown.

Shortly before 6 p.m., Marshalltown police received word of a heated disturbance in progress at a local shopping mall.

Forty-seven-year-old Charles Poafpybitty was arrested by police and formally charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury and Interfering With Official Acts.
