Three area restaurants have been named as being among the top ten in the state for the annual “Best Burger Contest” by the Iowa Beef Industry Council and the Iowa Cattleman’s Association.

The number of votes each restaurant received determined the 2022 top ten restaurants.

The highest ranked restaurant from the area to make the list was the “Flaming Office Bar and Grill” in Tama, which came in at the number three spot.

Other area restaurants that made the list include “The Flying Elbow” in Marshalltown, which came in at number seven, and the “West Towne Pub” in Ames, which finished tenth among actual voters.

The number one ranked restaurant for this year’s Best Burger Contest was “Arty’s Ice Cream & Grill” in Wilton.
