The Poweshiek County Supervisors held a public hearing on the county’s proposed fiscal year 2023 budget during their regular meeting earlier this week.

Following the public hearing, the budget was formally approved and adopted by the county board, as presented.

At this week’s meeting, the board also discussed the preliminary draft report of the county’s fiscal year 2022 audit report.

A liquor license was also approved by the board on behalf of Gator Enterprises LLC of Brooklyn, as presented.
