A domestic incident in a northside Marshalltown neighborhood early Tuesday morning has led to the arrest of a man by Marshalltown Police on domestic abuse assault charges.

Twenty-three-year-old Rian Popejoy was arrested by police and formally charged with Domestic abuse Assault, Strangulation with Bodily Injury and Violating a No Contact Order.
