The city of Iowa Falls has been selected as the host site for the Iowa Firefighters Association Annual Convention.

The convention is slated to take place the week of Sept. 7-11.

The annual convention brings fire departments from across the state together in one location.  The gathering features competitions and drills, equipment demonstrations, a golf tournament, double elimination duo bags tournament, a parade and food vendors.

A Facebook page – Iowa Falls Fire Department 2022 Convention – has been created to provide information about registration, merchandise and campground sites.

The city of Iowa Falls will also serve as the hos site for the state convention in 2023.
