The “29th Annual Night of Stars Gala” event to benefit the American Cancer Society and Iow River Hospice will take place this Saturday, Apr. 23rd at the Elmwood Country Club in Marshalltown after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19.

The event will feature a cocktail hour, a buffet dinner, a silent auction and a live auction for those attending.

Items that will be featured on the two auctions include Murder Mystery dinner tickets, Iowa-Iowa State football game tickets, and a children’s birthday party at the Marshalltown Fire Station.

The last gala event held in 2019 raised $80,000 to benefit the American Cancer Society and Iowa River Hospice.

Saturday’s gala event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with dinner and a live and silent auction at the Elmwood Country Club in Marshalltown.
