UnityPoint Health – Marshalltown will be hosting an open house Saturday for their new hospital located at 55 UnityPoint way, just south of the intersection of Highways 30 and 14.

The event will begin with a short ribbon-cutting ceremony before members of the community tour the new facility.

The open house will take place from 9 to 11:30 a.m. with refreshments and giveaways to be offered during the event.

The new hospital is the result of a $38.4 million expansion of the existing medical park on the south edge of the city.

UnityPoint Health’s support services began moving into the new facility on April 21st with the remaining departments expected to make the move April 25-27.
