The Mid-Iowa Drug task Force has issued warrants on two more individuals being sought on drug charges just a little more than a week after eight other individuals were arrested in Marshalltown and two other nearby communities as part of the same investigation.
On Thursday, 46-year-old Guy Bown ands 25-year-rold Keyana Vasquez-Stabenow, both of Marshalltown, were arrested by law enforcement authorities in connection with the case.
Brown is charged with having Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine, Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance, Marijuana, possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Engaging in Prohibited Acts.
Vasquez-Stabenow is charged with having Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Investigating agents found evidence of methamphetamine and marijuana use in a camper where the suspects were living behind the residence where the warrant was served. Officers seized methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia as a result of the search.
Initial court dates for both subjects have not yet been released. Eight other people were arrested by authorities as part of the same drug investigation, six from the Marshalltown area, one from Wellsburg, and the other from Hampton.
