An Iowa falls man accused of stealing from his employer has agreed to plead guilty to a lesser charge.
Thirty-two-year-old Nathan Marvin was originally charged with Second-Degree Theft last November.
According to the complaint, Marvin stole nearly $1,000 form the Iowa Falls Hy-Vee over a period of several months while he was employed there. As apart of a plea agreement, Marvin has agreed to plead guilty to third-degree theft, an aggravated misdemeanor, which carries a maximum of two years.
An investigation was opened late last year after store officials became suspicious that Marvin was stealing from the store.
The investigation revealed that Marvin was making fraudulent returns in exchange for cash for his own personal use.
A plea hearing has been set for May 10th.
