The Salvation Army-Marshalltown has announced an upcoming leadership change.

After ten years of service with the Salvation Army Central Territory Division, Captain Pam Kasten has announced her resignation with the organization.

The Salvation Army, which operates in 132 countries re-assigns leadership at various intervals based on skills, abilities and needs throughout the country.

The western division serving Nebraska, South Dakota and Iowa has announced new permanent leadership of Lieutenants Christopher and Abigail Nicolai to take command on Wednesday, June 8th.  Between May 23rd and June 8th the Salvation Army of Marshall County will be led by the team with the Oversight of Divisional Headquarters based in Omaha.

All services and programs will continue to function as they have the last four years under Captain Pam Kasten’s leadership.
