The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office is seeking interested individuals who would like to serve as deputy sheriff’s for the department.

During the next few weeks, interested individuals should make an application to be included in the civil service testing process.

Applications will be accepted until the list is certified by the civil service commission.

Applications and additional information may be obtained at www.marshallcountysheriff.com or by visiting the sheriff’s office at 2369 Jessup Avenue, Marshalltown.

The completed package must be submitted to the sheriff’s office to be eligible to participate in the process.  A lateral transfer and $3,000 hiring bonus will be offered for I-L-E-A certified candidates with a $1,000 hiring bonus being offered for successful non-certified candidates.
