Major improvements are starting to take shape at the Marshalltown Arts and Civic Center, formerly known as the Fisher Community Center, located at 709 Center Street.

Construction work has been ongoing in different areas of the building for quite some time, but once finished the facility will have much to offer everyone who utilizes its services.

One of the more notable attractions in the newly renovated facility will be the museum, which will offer many spectacular displays.

Another outstanding venue being offered is the Event Center.

The Marshalltown Arts and Civic Center also recently announced the hiring of Nancy Burke to serve as Director of Operations for the facility.  Her main role will involve helping people with running events and operating the center.
