At a special meeting this past week, the Marshall County Board of Supervisors approved a revised course of action for implementing a newly proposed siren project for the county.
According to Supervisors Chair Dave Thompson, the siren project evolved from its initial planning stages to its present day situation under Kim Elder, who serves as the county’s current Emergency Management Coordinator.
Supervisor Thompson says some notable changes are also starting to take shape with the Marshall County Courthouse renovation project, as well.
Although the courthouse project has been somewhat more extensive and drawn out than what most people would have expected, Thompson says all that will soon be forgotten after everything is completed and things once again return to normal.
Local officials say they expect the courthouse renovation project to be fully completed late this year with everything up and running inside, as well.
