Four Republican candidates have recently announced their candidacy for two open positions on the Marshall County Board of Supervisors.

An open forum featuring the four candidates will be held on Thursday, May 19th in Dejardin Hall on the Marshalltown Community College campus.

The forum lies ahead of this year’s Primary Election, which will take place on June 7th.

This year’s republican candidates running for the two open positions on the Marshall County board of Supervisors include Incumbent Supervisor Dave Thompson, Laurel Mayor Evan Folk, Marshall County Treasurer Jarret Heil, and Marshalltown YMCA/YWCA CEO Carol Hibbs.

Thursday’s Open Forum featuring the four Marshall County Republican Supervisor candidates will take place at 5:30 p.m. at Dejardin Hall on the Marshalltown Community College Campus.
