The Meskwaki Nation Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred on Tuesday afternoon at the Meskwaki Travel Plaza.

According to police, the suspects were described as being a female dressed in yellow, and a Hispanic male with a wart on the corner of his eye.

Police say the male subject forcibly put a watch on the victim’s hands and forced him to buy it by threat of harm.

The victim reportedly did not comply, at which time the robbery suspects forced the victim to withdraw money from the ATM.

The suspects then fled the scene with the cash.
