On Friday, May 20th, the Nevada High School FFA Chapter received a reconditioned clutch pressure plate assembly, including a new six pad ceramic clutch disc from Dean Kellner of High Capacity Incorporated.

In Ag Mechanics Class, the Nevada FFA students split a Foton 604 Diesel Tractor that needed a clutch.  The sixty-one horsepower tractor was donated to the chapter in 2013 by Dr. Paul Reedhead.

The tractor is powered b ya Perkins Diesel and only has 265 hours on it.  The Nevada FFA students later built splitting stands for the tractor.

Kellner also discussed the possibility of having an alignment shaft for installing the clutch, as well.

The value of he donation is around $400.

It was noted that the tractor may also be entered in the county and state fair this year.
