The Jasper County Conservation Board will host an “Older, Wiser, Livelier Seniors” program on Wednesday, June 8th at the Jasper County Armory/Annex Building in Newton.
The public is invited to come for 10:00 a.m. coffee and a program given by Kiara Fish with Sustainable Iowa Land Trust.
Kiara will discuss sustainable farming practices and how they are working to save and protect small, diverse, and clean farms that feed Iowans.
The OWLS program is a conservation program that encourages seniors to stay active and learn new things about the natural world.
