A man is facing charges after his alleged involvement in a hit-and-run traffic accident that occurred Wednesday morning in the north part of Marshalltown.

According to a police incident report, 49-year-old Gyi Maung was traveling in the 300 block of Woodbury Street when he struck an unattended vehicle that was parked in the area.

Maung was cited by police for Striking an Unattended Vehicle and Failing to Maintain Control of his Vehicle.
