Members of the Meskwaki Nation came together this week for a special run/walk event in honor of  Rita Papakee, a former Meskwaki Bingo Casino employee who has been missing since 2015.

The Meskwaki Nation Police Department hosted a special “Run4Rita” event on the settlement on Wednesday of this week, which would have marked Papakee’s 49th birthday.

Papakee was last seen leaving her job at the Meskwaki Bingo Casino on January 16th, 2015.

The Meskwaki Police Department is offering a $100,000 reward for information regarding her whereabouts.
