A recent vandalism investigation by Marshalltown Police has resulted in the arrest of a male subject on criminal mischief and drug charges.

On Wednesday evening, Marshalltown Police were dispatched to a location in the 20 block of West Main Street in response to an incident of vandalism that was reported in the area.

Forty-four-year-old Robert James Doran was later arrested by police on charges of 2nd Degree Criminal Mischief — Resulting in Known Property Damage Between $1,500 and $10,000, Possession of Contraband in a Correctional Institution — No Weapon; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
