The Historical Society of Marshall County will host its monthly History on Third Thursday program on June 16th at 6:30 p.m. at the Grimes Farm and Conservation Center.
Mike Stegmann, Marshall County Conservation Board Director will give presentation on the history of wildlife in Marshall County since the time of European settlement to present day.
Information will include the demise of some species that remain absent from the landscape to those species that have been reintroduced and species that have ben present throughout time.
The presentation will also focus on habitat requirements for wildlife and what landowners can do to improve habitat to manage wildlife populations.
The program is free and open to the public.
