An investigation Marshalltown Police into a domestic disturbance complaint has resulted in the arrest of a male subject on illegal drug use  and assault charges.

On Friday afternoon, Marshalltown Police were called to a report of a disturbance in the 600 block of East South Street.

Thirty-six-year-old Willie Dale was arrested by police and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Marijuana; and assault causing bodily injury or mental illness.
