The community of State Center is gearing up for this year’s “64th Annual Rose Festival,” which runs from Thursday, June 16th through Sunday, June 19th.

The festivities will kick off Thursday evening with the annual Rose Queen Pageant and Talent Show at 7:00 p.m. in the West Marshall High School Auditorium.

On Friday, a quilt show will be held, with food and live music to be provided during the day, as well, along with an evening fireworks show.

The festivities will get into full swing on Saturday, according to Buffi Honeck, who serves as chairperson of the local Rose Festival Board.

The celebration will conclude on Sunday with special events being planned throughout the final day of this year’s festival.
