The Marshalltown Police Department this week arrested a woman on a domestic abuse assault charge after responding to a report of a domestic type incident in progress at a local hospital.

On Tuesday morning, officers were summoned to a reported disturbance at 55 Unity Point Way on the city’s south side.

Twenty-nine-year-old Malinda Cruz-Bautista was arrested by police and formally charged with Domestic Abuse Assault by Strangulation.
