A notable Vietnam Veterans exhibit known as “The Wall That Heals” will be coming to Tama, Iowa on August 4th Thru August 7th at the Meskwaki Settlement School and will be open 24 hours a day and free to the public.
Randy Zimmerman, a primary spokesperson for the exhibit, says he was very much taken back by the experience of seeing the wall for the very first time a number of years ago and getting a feel for what it actually stands for.
Zimmerman encourages people to come out and see the wall first-hand while the exhibit is on display at the Meskwaki Settlement School.
He says individuals are also being sought to help oversee and manage the exhibit during its brief stay in Tama County in early August.
