The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship has released its weekly fuel report for the week of June 9th – June 15th, 2022.

As of Wednesday, June 15th, the price of regular unleaded gasoline averaged $4.76 across Iowa, according to Triple-A.

Prices rose 8 cents from last week’s price and were $1.89 higher than one year ago.

The national average on Wednesday was $5.01, up 5 cents from last week’s price.

Retail diesel prices in Iowa were up 4 cents this week with a statewide average of $5.33.

One year ago, diesel prices averaged $3.05 in Iowa.

The current Iowa diesel price is 45 cents less than the national average of $5.78.

Wholesale ethanol held steady and is currently priced at $2.16 a gallon.
