The Marshalltown Public Library will offer presentation with storyteller Darrin Crow highlighting his program “They Came a Enemies and Left as Friends: Stories of Prisoners of war in Iowa” on Sunday, June 26th at 2:00 p.m. in the library’s community meeting rooms.
“They Came as Enemies and Left as Friends” follows the stories of the citizens of Algona, Iowa and the prisoners of war who became their neighbors, co-workers, and oftentimes friends during World War II.
Darrin Crow is a renowned storyteller from Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
