A large delegation of Marshalltown Chamber members turned out Wednesday evening at the Midnight Ballroom for this year’s 124th Annual Chamber Banquet and Program.
John Hall, Marshalltown Chamber President and CEO served as Master of Ceremonies for this year’s event.
The keynote speaker for the event was Jason Duff, Founder and CEO of “Small Nation,” who spoke very favorably of his visit to the Marshalltown community.
Duff says the town where he resides in Ohio has many notable similarities when compared with Marshalltown.
Following Duff’s presentation, Chamber President and CEO John Hall recognized UnityPoint Health Marshalltown for being the “Community Impact Award” recipient of the year.
Pam Delagardelle proudly accepted the award on behalf of UnityPoint Health, noting it has truly been a great honor to be able to provide such an important and vital service to the Marshalltown community.
In concluding, Chamber President and CEO John Hall presented a special plaque to Joe carter, retiring Chair of the Marshalltown Chamber Board of Directors.
In concluding, it was noted that the Marshalltown community has overcome many significant barriers in recent years, but has the desire and work ethic to rebuild and become stronger than ever in the years that lie ahead.
