IOWA’S UNEMPLOYMENT RATE REMAINS LOW, DROPPING FROM 2.7% IN MAY TO 2.6% LAST MONTH, WHICH IS THE RATE SEEN BEFORE THE PANDEMIC.  THE STATE GAINED ABOUT 5,100 JOBS IN JUNE, ANDTHERE ARE NOW BETTER THAN 1.6 MILLION IOWANS EMPLOYED ACCORDING TO THE LATEST FIGURES FROM IOWA WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT.  NATIONALL, THE UNEMPLOYMENT RATE IS 3.6%, UNCHANGED FROM MAY.
