NO NEW DETAILS HAVE BEEN RELEASED AOBUT THE DISCOVERY OF A JAWBONE ALONG THE IOWA RIVER IN MARSHALL COUNTY. A STAFF MEMBER OF THE MARSHALL COUNTY CONSERVATION BOARD FOUND THE BONE AT AN UNSPECIFIED LOCATION ALONG THE RIVER, AND THE MARSHALL COUNTY MEDICAL EXAMINER FOUND OTHER REMAINS BELIEVED TO BE HUMAN AT THE LOCATION AS WELL. DNA TESTING WILL NOW BE USED TO DETERMINE IF THE BONE, AND REMAINS, ARE HUMAN.
