Captain Chris Jones attended the City Council Meeting last night to give information about the Secondhand Dealers and Pawnbrokers ordinance. Marshalltown Police Department has been working on this ordinance for several months after bringing it to the council twice over the summer. Captain Jones reports that some common ground has been found between business owners and the Police Department. This happened after they had a meeting with some City Councilmen and local business owners.
