Trick-or-treating in Marshalltown will be from 5:30 – 7pm on October 31st, please have your porch light on if you want kids to stop by your house! The Marshalltown Police Department sent out some safety tips reminders for Trick-or-Treating this year. Trick-or-Treat in a group, avoid unfamiliar homes and locations, do not accept any open beverages/candy, be cautious of strangers and don’t get into a vehicle with a stranger, also stick to sidewalks and the side of the road, do not cross the road randomly, use corners and sidewalks to cross.
