The Bobcat basketball teams traveled south to take on Newton last night for a double header. The Girls ended up losing 53 to 30.
The boys were able to keep the game close until the 4th quarter when free throws helped the Bobcats pull away and earn the 57 to 46 victory over the Newton Cardinals.
Both the Girls and Boys will play a doubleheader at home tonight vs Urbandale at the Roundhouse. The Girls game is set to start at 6:15, while the Boys game will follow. Both games will be broadcast on KFJB-TV.
