Friday night saw United Way Cabinet Members, Agencies, and other supporters gathered at the Marshalltown Library to celebrate the successful 2022 campaign.  Kendra Sorenson, Executive Director of the Marshalltown Area United Way, started by recognizing businesses with successful employee campaigns.  Emerson employees were able to raise over $47,000!  JBS employee campaign was able to raise over $11,000 but one JBS employee said they are in it to win it next year.  There was a lot of celebrate as Kendra announced the new total with still 2 weeks left in the campaign.  Kendra tells us that they have raised just over $803,000 with more still to come in!  This was the most successful United Way Campaign every, setting a new record for money raised.  We will bring Kendra on for Central Iowa today on Friday to discuss the success of her campaign.
