Thursday this week, February 9th, Police assisted the Marshalltown High School with a report involving a weapon allegation. School officials received information about a photo depicting a student in possession of a weapon. As a precautionary measure, school officials contacted law enforcement. According to the Marshalltown police, they found no evidence of any danger to students or staff. There are multiple persons of interest, all under age 18, in this investigation. No arrests have been made. This investigation is still on going.
