Unfortunately, it was a busy weekend for the Marshalltown Police Department. Chief Tupper was able to join KFJB for Ask the Newsmakers today to fill us in on what happened.
The male was identified as 27-year-old, Isaiah Montell Forest, he suffered a deadly gunshot wound. The Chief tells us that during their investigation they learned about a robbery on March 6th, which led them to 20-year-old Amarrion Isom.
Isom was then charged for murder on Sunday, March 19th. He remains booked in the Marshall County jail for a court hearing today. The Chief reiterates that the public is safe and victim and Mr. Isom knew one another.
