The House of Compassion partners with the Marshalltown High School Art Department every year for their Soup Bowl Luncheon fundraiser.  Executive Director with House of Compassion Chad Hammer tells us what makes this event unique

The Art Department plays a special role for this fundraiser and the reason its called “The Soup Bowl Luncheon”

Chad mentions that there are people who attend each year just so they can continue to collect a bowl

It will cost you $10 at the door on Sunday.  Stop by St. Mary’s Church on Linn St. for some Opa Grille soup and homemade desserts
