The Marshalltown school district is looking to add an audio and video system to the high school and possibly other schools.  Linehan school already has Bluum Audio Enhancement. Initially Dr. Schutte, Superintendent of schools, was skeptical about having cameras in the rooms.

The teachers have control over the video in the classroom, when they press the red button that tells administration they need extra support, the camera will turn on in the classroom.  It can also be turned on if a student is watching elsewhere.  Alexandra Dirks, the sales rep from Bluum Audio, shared an experience she saw while touring Linehan.

Another benefit with Bluum is having a microphone that teachers can wear to record their classes or allow those who are having trouble hearing the teacher, they can wear headphones to hear the teacher clearer.
