Reminder that starting next week E State Street will be closed for road construction. It will be closed from 1st Ave to 3rd Ave for roughly 3 months for Phase 1 of a 5 Phase project on State Street. Lincoln Way will also be closed starting Monday, March 27th through Tuesday, March 28th from Ann Rutledge Rd. to the west to 2508 W Lincoln Way. The Ann Rutledge intersection will remain open. The closure is to allow the removal of trees and other vegetation that has grown up into the utility lines. Lincoln Way is a Truck Route; Trucks will be detoured south on Highland Acres Road, along Iowa Ave, and connect to the existing Truck Route on 18th Ave.
