Coffee with a Cop was a program that started back in 2011 in Hawthorne, California. It quickly became a nationwide event and is something our police officers participate in locally.
That is Lieutenant AJ Accola with the Marshalltown Police Department. He told me they are going back to Hy Vee this year on April 11th for Coffee with a Cop. AJ mentions how he enjoys meeting different people in our community
Head over to Hy Vee on Tuesday, April 11th starting at 7:30am for Coffee with a Cop. The Marshalltown Police Department has enjoyed this event over the last 8 years.
