The Speed Limit changes have now gone into effect on Lincoln Way.  Heather Thomas with the Public Works Department talks through the change in speed.  Picture yourself coming into town from the West side on Lincoln Way, out by Highland Acres intersection.

The new signs are now posted!  At the last city council meeting it was mentioned that the Marshalltown Police will be giving a 1 month grace period and hand out warnings instead of tickets.  Reminder that this is also a location where they are considering adding a speed camera as well.  The camera would go up after Ann Rutledge Rd in the new 30 mph stretch.
