Calling all 15 and older individuals, the Marshalltown Aquatics Center is looking for more lifeguards for the summer.  The City is offering 2 free classes to train to become a lifeguard

That is Marshalltown Recreation Supervisor Jenni Hart.  Whether its CPR and First Aid, or knowing how to swim proficiently, and learn how to handle high pressure situations.  These skills are great for anyone to know and can be used outside of lifeguarding.  The classes begin May 19th and June 2nd.

Another benefit as a 15 year old you can earn $11/hr and also have opportunities in any community to be hired.  Check out becoming a lifeguard at Marshalltown-ia.gov
