Similar to when David Robinson was named MVP in 1995 and then the Spurs got dominated by the Rockets and Hakeem Olajuwon, Joel Embiid and the 76ers were dominated last night by the Celtics.  It was announced on Tuesday that Embiid won the NBA MVP this season after game 1 where Embiid sat and the 76ers won behind a 46-point performance by former MVP James Harden.  The Celtics won game 2 last night 121 – 87.  The series is now tied 1-1 and will move to Philadelphia for game 3.
