The K-9 Fundraiser for the Sheriffs Office was a bigger project than the Marshalltown Police Department K-9 Fundraiser.  The Sheriffs Office has a goal of $80,000 because they are trying to start the K-9 Program.  Sheriff Philips calls the KFJB line to give listeners an update

The last bit of fundraising is always the hardest, but Sheriff Philips says they have a plan.

The Sheriffs office predicted that the fundraising would take about a year, and 4 months into fundraising they are at roughly 84%.  There is some good news coming
