The Marshalltown United for Ukraine held a meeting earlier this week and the room was full of people wanting to learn more.  Since the war started in Ukraine, 4 families have come to Marshalltown for refuge.

That is Kathy Duncan, she is part of the Core Team with Marshalltown United for Ukraine.  Another core member, Denise Determan mentions that it is easier to volunteer now than at the beginning

The main need is people power and they are looking for people to help families even with small things like going to the grocery store.  If you are able to help you can reach out to St. Francis Catholic Church or Hope United Methodist Church.
