Last nights Marshalltown City Council Meeting had a closed session at towards the end.  The City Council eventually re-emerged and voted on accepting the terms of resignation from Jessica Kinser, City Administrator.  The vote was 5 – 2, with Al Hoop and Gary Thompson voting against.  After accepting the resignation, Councilor Gabe Isom made a motion to approve Robert Fagan as interim city administrator.  Fagan has worked in the cities of Cumming, Des Moines, Spencer, Pleasant Hill, and Altoona.  Fagan will work for the City of Marshalltown for 12 weeks.
