Governor Kim Reynolds issued disaster proclamations for 6 counties that were hit hard by the storm on Sunday.  Those 6 counties are Benton, Iowa, Jasper, Muscatine, Poweshiek, and Story.  It was reported that some of these counties were seeing hail the size of baseballs during the storm on Sunday.  The proclamation proides grants of up to $5,000 for qualifying homeowners.  Storm victims have 45 days to apply and you can find those grants online at https://homelandsecurity.iowa.gov/disasters/
