The ESA, or Education Savings Accounts, that are offered through the state of Iowa opened up their application process yesterday.  For the 2023-2024 school year, households who are at or below 300% of the poverty line can apply.  That is roughly $90,000 for a family of 4.  The ESA’s are available to those households who are sending their kid to an accredited nonpublic school, like St. Francis or the Marshalltown Christian School. Households are able to receive up to $7,600 per student to help with those costs.  If you search ESA Iowa on google, the first link will be for the Iowa Department of Education and you can find the application on that website, I have also linked it below. For more information you can reach out to either of the private schools in Marshalltown and they will be able to assist.
