Arnold Park, in Marshalltown, was recently vandalized.  According to Geoff Hubbard, Marshalltown Park and Recreation Director, someone took spray paint to the slide, on the basketball court, and benches.  Vandalism can take time to clean up, and while things need to be cleaned up, the Parks department could remove those elements.  Spray paint on random signs, cars, walls was something the City Council discussed a few months back after multiple spots were tagged around town.  The Council discussed banning spray paint to minors, that idea never passed a vote with the councilors.
